It snowed south of us and it snowed north of us. Because we are in a dip, our weather is more moderate and all we had was winds. I had planned to mow today, but the wind wasn't that conducive to mowing, so I am putting it
off until tomorrow. Today was day two of the brisket. I skimmed off a quart of liquid fat. I put the container in the freezer and I'll throw it out on next garbage day. Then I trimmed off a lot of the solid fat. I love fat, but this is even too much for me.
The naked brisket went back in the fridge. Tomorrow will be slicing day. I have an electric knife that I use 3 times a year. Thanksgiving, Rosh Hashanah and Paseach. Every couple of years, I decide to give the knife to Goodwill and then the following year,
I buy another one at Goodwill. This works for me.
