Today was my first day ,this year, of yard sale-ing. The sales were a little on the desperate side, not much to see, but the people were hungry for them, and they came.
At one beautiful spread, there were so many cars, that between where we had to park on the road and walk a long country path to the house, I felt that I got my exercise for the day. I did get to see some beautiful properties. Farm land, horses, hawks, choppy
inlets, wind ,hundred's of seals sunning themselves on the beach and a very clean porta john , and the snow capped Cascade mountains. . I got to use my Washington State Park pass , called Discovery Pass,
and pickup some drift wood. In Florida, it's shells, here it is rocks and drift wood. The sales had nothing for me ,but maybe next week end. I am on the look out for a frying pan and a mixing bowl. One or the other will work. Or both. Or another magnificent
view of nature.
