It is amazing how taking off the fruit tree cages that made the leaves and fruit free from the maundering deer has changed the appearance of the whole yard. It seems larger and more serene. My DiL and her brother , but mostly
my DiL have mulched every possible place that mulch can go. Where she didn't put mulch, she put wood chips. This yard is ready for a wedding. Big time. Today,my daughter and I took a ride to see where the
AirB&b is that she and her husband,when he gets here , will be their home base. We couldn't find it. It is one of the streets that form a U shape,one side E. and the other W. We tried both sides,but couldn't find it. Since we are known for our lack of
sense of direction, we just decided to enjoy the beautiful drive and wait for one of the kids to drive us there. I think that my daughter is realizing how I feel being here, surrounded by family. Her son dropped in, her brother stopped in, her sister in law
dropped in, and shared some wine with us,her sister in laws brother was around, helping with the yard. It was community at its best.
