Port Townsend woke up to a surprise layer of pristine snow. The moon has been extraordinarily bright, so when I looked out at 4:30 AM, everything looked really bright
and white. I looked again, and it was snow. When that cold front met the warm Pacific air, I guess it collaborated by making snow. By the end of the day, only what was in shady spots was still here. Short

dried beans and canned beans. I haven't made a from scratch bean dish in a long time . I used a whole lb of dried beans ,which makes a lot of beans.
