ON THE BACK BURNER

I want to get in as much outdoor work as I can before it starts to rain. The weather has been surprisingly mellow. I can get away with a pair of fleece tights, sweat pants, a sweater, a long sleeved "T" shirt,a puffer jacket, my hat, wool socks, work gloves and sneakers. And a knitted scarf wrapped twice around my neck. I am very comfortable .The weeding in the veggie garden is almost done. My son is bringing in a load of saw dust and we will spread it on the path between the rows. It should look very neat and clean, which is good, because this is the first thing that the wedding guest will see as they walk to the area where the ceremony will take place. The next view is THE BOAT. There are somethings that you  just  can't hide and a large sailboat is one of them. Maybe  a large blue tarp like they cover roofs with would help. My next project is to scrub the deck, wash down the trailer and see what is on the roof. For sure there are leaves and I often hear something scampering up there. I think it is a short cut between trees for the squirrels. The new construction on our block has displaced the deer and many have moved on to quieter eating fields. i feel for them and don't like the reason they are leaving any more than they do. Sorry, deer.
