ON THE BACK BURNER

Today I became an ordained person and I can perform a marriage ceremony.I feel empowered. I will be the officiant for my grandson's wedding in March. I take this very seriously and remembering that Bob and I met with my Rabbi before the actual wedding, I have already done this. I went online and learned what questions to ask the couple of how they wanted me to do my part. The internet is wonderful. I  got a feeling for how they wanted me to perform the ceremony, who does what, who stands where. It will be such an honor for me to do this for them,so very personal and special. I want it to be perfect for the beautiful bride and handsome groom. The hardest part of that day for me, will be trying to stay warm at an outdoor wedding at our bubble compound, where I can with confidence say ,that it will be cold and maybe rainy or grey or windy, or all of the above.  One of my daughters will be holding Dixie so she doesn't start crying and barking. Dixie, not my daughter. Now that I think of it, I should probably get Dixie a new sweater for the occasion. We all want to look our best for these two special people.
