I've been listening to some videos about No Buy practices. I realized that we have been living the No Buy method, even before I found them on YouTube. i had been doing so many of the things that they were telling me I should be doing. But I did pick up a few ideas that I will try. Like read one non fiction book a month. Since I have been reading mostly mystery books and cook
books, that is something that I think I will do. Don't get a pet, was another. I was astounded by what the average expense is for a pet. I will never be without a pet, and I have experienced how costly a pet, especially a senior pet, is. Makes no difference.
I've had a dog since I was 10 and got a black Cocker Spaniel. I'm not going to stop now. Do something out of my comfort zone. I've done a lot of that already. Like read Harry Potter. I only did that because
my grandson gave me a list of things that I should do and Harry Potter was on the list. I thought that I didn't like fantasy books. I have read the whole series 4 times and have the complete set. Actually,
I am a little excited to be starting this No Buy idea. I did do exactly what the video said not to do. But In my defense, I didn't know not to do it. Because I knew that I wouldn't be ordering from Amazon
for awhile, I quickly ordered 3 cook books. That's OK. My discipline doesn't start until Jan. 1.
