I have figured out how to make a 17 year old boy kid happy. Let him ride my ebike and let him practice driving with my mini van. Both of these activities make me nervous. The good news is that I don't have to go on the driving
excursions. just my car and one of his parents. He must be doing very well because he and the car came home ,everyone in a good mood. I was not the one who taught our kids how to drive. That was Bob's job. We had a stick shift VW bus. The best thing about
the older kid now driving was that she could pick up the two younger kids at after school Hebrew school. None of our kids were that impressed with driving. At least two of the four didn't get their licenses
until college. I remember that we had to hand sew the seat belt on our VW bug that another daughter learned on. I have no idea why it was damaged .It is certainly different for my grandson to learn on this mini of mine. Everything is automatic. Even adjusting
the seat from my being on top of the steering wheel so my feet touch the pedals to his long legs so his knees don't touch the steering wheel. One day,
he can take his turn driving me around , like Ms Daisy.
