I wonder how some books get published and why would a library put them on a shelf. I picked a " new" book at my library , read the jacket info and decided to take it out.
It's a mystery with a food theme. Sounds perfect for a one night read. It is terrible. Full of cliches,slang that no one uses ,an attempt to be current . How could I have been so mislead by a jacket blurb. It's a bad imitation of better mystery food writers.
This is where Kindle comes to the rescue. I like to hold a book in my hand. I like book markers. I use to like to see who read the book before me. This was when the library was small and you knew everyone in town. It use to make me sad to see a book that no
one took out ,in a long time. I often wondered, if you hadn't read in a long time, would you remember how . Now to see what I stored on my Kindle.
