ON THE BACK BURNER

I had a bunch of errands to do today, so I left Dixie sans meds and left the house. First stop was Office Depot. No one wore masks. Second stop was to an eye glass place to fix my glasses.  No one  wore a mask. Third stop was to Costco.  Most customers did not have on masks. What I found interesting was that at Costco, people who were shopping together, didn't all either wear masks, or not wear masks. Maybe some of the members of the party were smarter than some of the others. Costco still has their food stand. That surprised me because I had read that they were going to close them up. I use to get a terrific brisket sandwich there, but I saw that it was not on the menu board. The tables were set up for diners and it looked as crowded as I remember it. I skipped the hot dog, although I was tempted. People here in my subdivision who know me because of my dog walking, see me and say things like,"I haven't seen you in a while". Yeah, like almost two years. Where does the time go?
