Well, Dixie got her health certificate that says she is fit to fly. I guess that means we are really going home. This official looking piece of paper cost me $ 65. and is good for 10 days. In the small print of the airline
regulations it says that your pet needs this certificate. In reality,I didn't have one when we flew here, and no one asked for one. But with the craziness with flying and harassed flight personnel, I wanted
every contingency to be addressed as far as traveling with a pet. At this point, Dixie's travel expenses cost as much as mine. The Vet gave me a new procedure to try . I will give her the anti anxiety med 24 hours
before we leave and then again before her flight. This should keep her in a lala land and hopefully stress free and comfy in her crate. I am now going to think positively and only visualize a dozing13 lb scruffy looking dog all curled up , relaxed, flying
from Seattle to Tampa.
