aI picked up our organic, overpriced turkeys. Plural turkeys. There were only 4 organic ones at the grocery store and no chance of more coming. I thought that one wouldn't be large enough for our crew, so I bought two and
had the butcher cut one in half. I'll bake 1 and 1/2 and freeze the other half for another time. Just think of all of the legs and thighs we'll have. I am figuring out how to cook with the limited space
that I have. The kids have their assignments, doing them in their own kitchens. The turkey is being cooked at my son and DiL's. I will do the stuffing here. Magically, it will all come together in the studio. My grandson had all of his belongings shipped here
and among the belongings is a Danish dining room table that we had in our Evanston dining room. That will be our table for Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see the table again. It is one of those great Danish designs that can sit three people or
open up to sit 10. We ate a lot of meals around that table .It followed us from Evanston to our high rise 38 th floor apartment in Chicago. It celebrated Bar
and Bas Mitzvah's, holiday's and a wedding. It'll be so good sitting around it again.
