I spent the greater part of today on the phone. I found that my credit with Alaska Air was good for a year. I actually never looked for an end date on my correspondence. I was calling to use the credit toward my trip ,planned
for early Dec. I missed the cutoff by 10 days. Lucky for me, they extended the period and I put that ticket toward this flight coming up. I couldn't make Dixie's reservation until I had my ticket, so that was the next call. She and I have our reservations.
I hope the flight isn't too crowded. I hate to practice on Dixie by giving her a sedative to see how she responds. On her first and only trip, I didn't
give her enough and she was terrified and screamed most of the 5 hours. This time, I will being her to the point of almost comatose and have her sleep. On the phone, I am negotiating with Rad ebike to take my bike back. I am so disappointed but it is just
too large for me. The handlebars come above my shoulder when I stand next to it. It is a tank disguised as a bike .The house and grounds are very quiet. We are down to two cars in the driveway. I use to wonder at all of the cars I sometimes saw parked in a
driveway. Now I know ,it's all about family.
