I was having a flash back of a wonderful two nights a bunch of us ladies from the JCV spent at Myakka State Park in Sarasota. We reserved the 3 rustic cabins. No hair
dryers, no TV, the minimum of comforts. We walked between the cabins using flash lights,if we went from one to the other. No one didn't eat what we planned . It was so good. Some of these ladies are no
longer with us( may their memory be as a blessing). I have a mental picture of us carving pumpkins, eating together, taking a hike . It may have been our first " retreat" and we didn't know it. We played games, no one held back, laughed, drank wine, (I think,
can't remember for sure about this),laughed some more. There were no cliques,no one didn't do what we all did. I miss the ladies we lost and the ladies who are still with us.
