I went ebike shopping today. That was different. The bike shop only had ebikes. I guess that pedal bikes aren't as attractive in a town with a lot of hills. I also learned
that the ebikes that are rental bikes, are all spoken for after the season, and to seal the deal, the people who want them have already put down a deposit.If I wanted to order a bike, it would take weeks,
literally, weeks to get delivery. I had sticker shock, even though I knew before hand how much they were.And to add insult to injury or is it injury to insult, The model that I looked at was so heavy, I could not budge it. Even grunting, I couldn't move it.
It probably won't take long for some manufacturer to come up with a lighter weight ebike. I'll just wait and keep pumping the bike I have now.
