As beautiful as the last few days have been, it's over for a while. 30 degrees colder and maybe it could have snowed. It was that grey . Dixie declared that today was a rest day and she did not get off the couch without my
insisting that she did. This was the kind of day that I have been waiting for. I often say that I will clean something or organize something the next snow day. I use this line in Florida , too. Today was that day here in Port Townsend. My couch is built to
open up as a double bed. Under it is a long and deep built in storage area. I keep large serving pieces and , in those sealable plastic storage bags that you deflate, I have seasonal clothes. Out of sight,
out of mind. I needed to find my favorite quilt to get ready for my daughter's visit. Everything came out of hiding, piles of clothes were reduced to a pile for Goodwill, and one to put back, but , no quilt. Not to worry, trailers use every available
space utilized for storage. This includes the whole underside of the trailer.Tomorrow, I will look there for my quilt. I want it to be a surprise.
