Todaywould have been the " Wooden Boat Festival". Just like the one year that I did see it,it was dreary, grey and wet. Maybe it is always like this on this date. The rain wasn't enough to clean the car, just enough to make
the dust slide down a few inches. I did get to go to the dump. I saw some great rocks just sitting there at the garden waste section where we dropped our leaves and limbs. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to pick them up for my garden, but my son said that I
should just go for it.And I did. They are still in my son's car. My DiL has an event going on in the yard tonight. She has the deaf community here to view a showing of a film they made for some competition. My DiL is not deaf, but is very involved with the
hearing impaired community. I will see the film tomorrow at our Sunday meal ,which will be Taco Sunday. Last week, when we went to Sequim , we ate, outdoors, at a Mexican restaurant, and I was very disappointed that they didn't have refried beans. So, I figured
we should do a Taco celebration at our family meal. Main attraction... refried beans, vegetarian style. Bring on the guacamole.
