My giant sunflower is taking shape. We started the first application . It is an on going project. After the first layer, then comes shading and more outlining. For some reason, my son seems to have the final say on the tweaking.
I am the scut worker. My DiL does detail and my son does shading. We all know our role. I have this expanse of blank " canvas" , the back of the trailer. Originally, the sunflower was to go there, but it works better on the side. I suggested that we paint
a window on the back, which is really the front of the trailer, with all of our faces peering out of it. It's up for a family vote. Our Sunday meal was also the date that I had decided last year, that I
wanted to celebrate my birthday. My actual birthday is New Year's eve and I always resented celebrated my special day with the world. So I degreed that the evening before Rosh Hashanah, which is the start of the Jewish new year ,
be my birthday. For some reason, it seemed less populated . Then I forgot. But my grandson remembered and brought a magnificent chocolate mousse birthday cake for dessert. How special . And I got to keep the left over cake !
