No yard sales today. We considered our going to Sequim on Friday as our yard sale day. I got a little confused and when I woke up Saturday morning, I thought it was Sunday
because we shifted our sale day. It took me a second to to realize why I was
having that thought. This change gave us a chance to start our ongoing activity of decorating my exterior pod. My DiL did a huge sunflower
and then had a printing place enlarge it. The actual flower copy is probably close to 4 foot . How you transfer it to the pod, is old school. We take colored chalk and on the reverse side of the enlarged copy, we chalk . Then my DiL climbed a ladder and placed
the flower where we thought it should go and taped it to the trailer, chalk side against the trailer. Then , me working the lower section and she on the ladder doing the higher portion,we traced the flower
with a pencil. Once we took the paper down, we had the outline of a tremendous sunflower. Then we both worked with black paint and outlined what had transferred from the chalk.Voila , the outline of a sunflower to be painted and shaded and detailed . What
a happy looking pod.
