I actually spent the day watering the fruit trees. I use a timer and change the position of the hose every 20 minutes. That takes the whole day. I didn't even water my
own garden. I'll do that tomorrow, If it doesn't rain. I spent months complaining about the rain here. I am reminded to be careful about what you wish for. It hasn't rained in so long that I can't even remember when it did.We have had grey days, cloudy days,
some misty days, cold days ,but no soak the ground days. Just one day of rain would be appreciated. My DiL told me that this is probably the last time that I will be soaking the trees. It'll be fall here and that should mark the start of the rainy season.
. Fall is supposed to be quite nice here. Last fall was the coldest and wettest on record, so I didn't really get a chance to experience it. I'll give it another chance this year.
