I used my ipad calendar for the first time this year. I scheduled Dixie a Vet appointment and me a dental appointment. My life is getting exciting. Actually my days are
very full, even when I don't leave the block. I am working on a corner of the yard that is not attractive or serving any useful purpose. I don't have a vision for it yet, so I just keep cutting down thorny bushes, finding crazy things under a pile of leaves
and moving rocks. I found two drain gutters buried under the leaves. We are thinking that this area was once the dump for the main house. We had a similar thing at our cottage. Near the road , we found where they buried bottles and tin cans. Some of the finds
were collectable old medicine bottles, but mostly rusted out tin cans. Here the finds are not that newsworthy. My gardening gloves are doing their best,but my nails still get dirty. I did a pretty decent job of scrubbing them clean, with the exception of one
thumb nail. Nothing was working and I felt uncomfortable with one dirty nail , so I painted that one with nail polish. red. It's a conversation starter .
