ON THE BACK BURNER

My exercise class, gives me more fun than exercise. I am not sure what vibes I give off, but everyone in the class is a character. There is a new couple in the class and I would so like to say to the woman" would you just leave your husband alone. You are so impatient with him". I see her and it makes me hope that I was never like that when Bob was slow to do something. Her husband does not have dementia, he is just seems not to have an organized muscle in his body. He was a school principal, recently retired. He has a great sense of humor, but his wife verbally picks at every move he makes. Then there is a woman who shows up every class, who is terribly hunched over and must be in pain. She comes and seems to walk out several times during our one hour of class. She feels it is her job  to makes corrections on how we do the exercises.  But her  face is always made up and I have a feeling that she was once beautiful. Then we have this really big guy ,who isn't fat, he is just big. I noticed how graceful he is when one of our exercises involves movement. I'd never say that to him, but he is.We all do light 2 and 3 lb.  weights and he has he man sized ones. He is the only person in class who carries a towel and needs it. When you observe us, we must look like a bunch of twits. Everyone is doing the same exercise, but differently. I just laugh when I watch my class mates doing their thing. I wouldn't miss the class for anything.
