I really like that message in our High Holy Days Kol Nidre service. The one that has "and life is a journey" and "death a destination" I'm not too keen on the death part, but I do agree that life is meant to be a journey. If I could take that first
step as part of my journey by moving to Florida, why not just keep going ..and going.
That brings me to my favorite Nike commercial "You don't know if you don't go". I'm not going anywhere without planning, plodding and being prudent. I've done the hardest
part, telling my family and friends that I am making Aliyah.I got really mixed feed back on this one. Some would say "Oh ,I'm not a Zionist". Then I say "Do you support Israel". If the answer is yes, then they are surprised that they are considered Zionist
.
I'm taking my time with the plodding part. Being prudent is part of the journey.
My life is a journey and my destination is Israel. And it is never too late to go.
