New Page

We have decided that if we left it to a dating service, we would never have been matched to each other. But here it is,59 years later, and they were fast, good years.

I am atheletic, he not, I read fiction, he non-fiction, I will eat at any time, he looks at his watch first. He stops eating when he is full, I hold a clean plate certificate.I love adventure and change, family joke is that he won't cross the street that divided our suburb from the town next to it.

He has a perfect ear, me not so much(more on this later).I was raised  in an Orthodox home, his was Reform. He can spell anything.I need a dictionary that starts with the misspelling and then tells you how to spell it correctly. Should I go on.?

What we do have in common is that we were meant to be with each other since that Passover when we met 61 years ago. It is never too late to appreciate that some things are just meant to be.

Powerful, beautiful, and a reminder to us all that the really important traits lie under the superficial surface. Here's to 61 more years of happiness together!
