Every morning the New York Times ,on the front page , upper right, has the local weather report. It is often "cloudy with sunshine". As a metaphor for life, this is so true.I guess you need to have it both ways
or else you get compliant.
Compliant is something ,I think , you don't let yourself become when you live in Israel. From what I read, life can be difficult, you are under threat from your seen and unseen enemies,
political parties make strange alliances, traffic is crazy, so, who wouldn't want to live in this place. I call where I now live, Paradise, and yes, I would give that up to live at the other end of this spectrum.
This move I am planning doesn't appeal to most .I talked to our accountant today about what I would have to do about taxes. He used the words ex-patriot.I had to catch my breath. I never actually considered that.It sounds romantic, but you are agreeing
to give up a piece of who you are.Cloudy or sun-you choose because it is never too late.
